I hope this letter finds you in good health. I just read your mail stating all the required details of your flight with the arrival time. However, I am writing to you to tell you woefully that I will not be able to come to the airport to receive you.

Please pardon me for the inconvenience but the problem is that there is a vital meeting on that day and as I am heading that project so no one else can do the presentation on my behalf. Moreover, clients are coming from Dubai hence, it would be impossible to postpone it as well. I am sure you will definitely comprehend my situation.

Also, I have booked an OLA taxi for you, driver of the taxi will be waiting for you at the arrival gate no 5. He will be holding a board with your name on it. My meeting will get over by 5.00 pm so will see you then. Plus, I have taken three days off from the office after that to spend quality time with you. In fact, there is a beautiful lake nearby, we will go for boating as well.

I apologize for the trouble and eagerly waiting to meet you.
