Quá khứ đơn:

Chủ động : S + Ved/V(pp1) + O + ..............

Bị động : S( là O của chủ động) + was/were + Ved/V(pp2) + ...............(by +S) +...............

Mệnh đề thời gian đứng sau by + S

Mệnh đề nơi chốn đứng trước by + S
