The other day I was having Lunch with my family.

Since my childhood we have a pattern in our home, first everybody at our home has lunch while my Mummy serves and while we are on our last Roti she too joins with her plate.

So the other day, I was little extra hungry, while she brought her plate I asked for another Roti, she served it to me from her on plate and then went back to get a Roti for her.

While she went, Dad whispered , “She is not well, has immense headache.”

And when she came back, in her plate I see she has a Roti which was made the previous day what we call “Thandi Roti”.

Seeing that, I had a lump in my throat, I was speechless, all the beautiful memories ran into my head, I was teary.

Seeing this, Mom asked me , “What happened Beta?”

I could barely speak, my voice shaked as I said ,“Nothing mumma, wait I’ll make a roti for you.”

While making this Roti , thousand emotions ran into me, How can someone be so selfless?
