The last time I experienced a day without electricity was in Ha Noi. My family and I were living in Ha Noi at the time, and we lost power for about a week. We turned to candles, flashlights, and battery-powered lanterns to light our home. We cooked on camping stoves and ate meals prepared by candlelight , it was fun for us, but it wasn't very practical for cooking or eating. The most difficult part about going without power is dealing with all of the things that you don't have access to anymore: no TV, no internet, and no way to charge your phone or laptop. My family also had to limit how much water we used because there was no way to heat up more than one pot at a time on our camping stove so we had to take turns washing ourselves and brushing our teeth each morning instead of doing everything at once like we usually do!
