Skippyjon Jones is a children's picture book series, written by Judith Byron Schachner. SJ. SJ and the big bones is a part of this series. It's about the Siamese cat named SJ who lives with his sisters and his mother. He thinks he is a chihuahua because he has unusually large ears, an equally large head, and a small tail. There are 2 things that Sj crazy about digging and dinosaur. The story starts whit a normal day of SJ: buries Darwin's bones, comes back to his house, assembles his Skippysaurus model, ... SJ is really an imaginative boy. and his friends come to a forest and sing all their way. After a while, they come to the dinosaurs' place. They lost when fought against a T-rex. But, just is a dream. Although the book is funny and wonderful, some reviews criticize Skippyjon Jones’ depiction of Latinos and the use of Mock Spanish.
