My place is raining so provides a nice getaway

Dear friend,

The place I have been is totally different than my city. It rains here only during the night. The sky is clear during the daytime, though it's never too hot either. The forecast says that after two weeks of rain there will be a snowstorm in the south of our country! I've never seen snow before, will it make you feel nostalgic when you see pictures? When my city was affected by this terrible heatwave and endless drought last summer, everything felt bittersweet like spoiled fruit left to rot on its branches on my desk. So I ran away from home to get away from this heat.
