The story of The Lion King still follows Simba, a small lion destined to become the next king of the Land of the King. However, the evil plot of Scar - Simba's uncle caused Simba's father - Mufasa to die and he himself had to flee deep into the forest. The Lion King is the Simba journey, with the help of Nala, Zazu, the prophetic monkey Rafiki, Pumbaa and Timon, to regain the throne.
