1) Because the environment is important in the our life. If the environment was seriously polluted, All the scenes would lose the beauty and many people wouldn't have clean things to use. It is the affects.

2) The way of reduce pollution at my school I do. I pick up trash and take it into the bins of school, Most classes are cleaned by pupil in my school, besides, my school also hold the green competiton to plant more trees and flowers in the its gadern. That is some step to reduce the environment in my school!
