Last October I attended the Mid-autumn festival in my school. The festival has another name: Moon Festival. According to tradition, the festival is celebrated on 15th August in the Lunar calendar. Last year in my school, it was celebrated on 1st October by all of the teachers and students. The festival was held in the yard of my school. We celebrated the festival because it is a children's festival and the teachers wanted the students to enjoy our national customs and traditions. There were a lot of fun activities. All of the classes made mooncakes. We also performed the Lion dance and decorated our classrooms. My friends and I enjoyed the festival so much.
