Vietnam is the country with many beautiful festivals. There are hundreds of festivals each year. One of my favorite festival is the Mid-Autumn festival because there are many activities for children in the festival. Last year I celebrated it in my school with my teachers and best friends. It is celebrated every year on the 15th of August Lunar calendar. It takes place everywhere in Viet Nam. During the festival, we had a party, ate mooncakes and sweets and sing together. Traditionally it is held to protect children from a big bear. Many people including children and adults like this festival.

Việt Nam là đất nước có nhiều lễ hội đẹp. Có hàng trăm lễ hội mỗi năm. Một trong những lễ hội yêu thích nhất của tôi là Tết Trung thu vì trong lễ hội có rất nhiều hoạt động dành cho trẻ em. Năm ngoái, tôi đã tổ chức lễ kỷ niệm này trong trường với các giáo viên và những người bạn thân nhất của mình. Lễ hội được tổ chức hàng năm vào ngày 15 tháng 8 Âm lịch. Nó diễn ra ở khắp mọi nơi trên đất nước Việt Nam. Trong lễ hội, chúng tôi đã có một bữa tiệc, ăn bánh trung thu và đồ ngọt và hát cùng nhau. Theo truyền thống, nó được tổ chức để bảo vệ trẻ em khỏi một con gấu lớn. Nhiều người kể cả trẻ em và người lớn đều thích lễ hội này.

Vietnamese people are everywhere in the world. But there is a festival that makes all Vietnamese who are far away from home with one heart. Do is Hung Temple festival, where people have built a temple to worship 19 Hung Kings in Phu Tho province. The festival takes place from the 1st to the 10th day of the 3rd lunar month. The festival begins with an incense offering ceremony with representatives of the State, at the Thuong Temple where King Hung sacrificed to heaven and earth in the past. After the ceremony, there are Xoan singing and dancing (in the Upper Temple), ca tru singing (in the Lower Temple), and many other games. Hung Temple Festival not only attracts visitors from all over the world to attend the ceremony because of its unique cultural activities but also in the sacredness of a pilgrimage back to the ethnic roots of generations of Vietnamese people. At the festival, each person showed love and admiration for their ancestors' homeland. This is a belief that has been deeply ingrained in the minds of every Vietnamese person.
