English is my favorite subject and also the one that I am good at, so many of my friends had asked me about the way to learn it properly. There is no compulsory method to study English, but each person has to find the suitable one in order to study it efficiently. I had discovered some of my own secret to learn it, and I had a big improvement since then. One of my hobbies is reading, and I choose English books to read in order to improve both my vocabulary and grammar. I read about the history, culture of England and the United States, novels of famous authors, and English news, all of them help me to gain a lot of new words as well as general knowledge. Besides, I never lose my interest in learning English because I know how to combine studying and entertaining. Instead of learning by hearts all the new words in boredom, I listen to English songs, watch English movies and try to translate the lyrics as well as the subtitle. By doing that, I know more about the different and the same things between English and Vietnamese, and it helps me to use English properly in each certain situation. I also connect with some international friends, and they are the best teacher to teach me about English. I can learn some slang, idioms, and things that normal teachers do not teach their students. Besides, my confidence in speaking English also increases since I spend time to talk on the phone with them. I feel that I have made more positive changes since I had my very own ways to learn English, and that is the reason why I think each of us should be creative in learning it.  

Learning English not difficult but nobody knows how to study English well. Today i'm going to share about my effective English learning tips. Firstly, When you study English, or any language for that matter, you shouldn’t learn individual words because memorising them makes no sense without context. Instead, you should study whole phrases. Memorising the meaning of words is much easier if you know what they mean and how they are used in a sentence.Secondly,  if you want to learn how to speak English, learn by listening and not by reading. By listening more, you’ll be able to learn useful vocabulary and grammar without even realising or memorising them. I always listen to music by Taylor swift .One of the best ways to learn grammar is to listen to short stories told in various tenses. This will help you improve your English grammar automatically and more naturally. For example, if a story starts with “I don’t like banana but I want to eat one,” the other story should be “I didn’t like bananas but I wanted to eat one.”.Finally, write a daily diary in English to practice your writing skills.
