I believe that all Vietnamese children look forward to Tet. It is not only a sacred day but also a relaxing vacation. Children get 10 days off from school, they can be entertained after a year of study. Adults are given about 7 days off, just enough time to rest after a year of work. It's time to gather together, it's time for family and a chance to go back to our hometown. Tet is when everyone buys new things to decorate their house, tidy up their house for the new year to welcome good luck. Everyone is hoping for a better and luckier year. The whole family will stay awake in the New Year's Eve to await the New Year moment.  After New Year's Eve, children will receive lucky money, celebrate New Year and have lots of candies to eat. Tet is a memorable and joyous holiday for both adults and children.
