My favorite season of the year is fall, and I have so much to do during this time. The weather in the fall is perfect for me as it is much cooler than the hot summer. I feel like my body is enjoying a vacation after a long day of work in the heat. People say this is the best time to eat and sleep, and I have to admit that food seems to me better than ever. The nights are quiet and the mornings are not hot so I can comfortably enjoy my sleep on weekends. We have a great occasion at this time of year when everyone gathers with their families and enjoys mooncakes, which is the Mid-Autumn Festival. Fall is also the time to go back to school. Although I have a lot of free time to play during summer vacation, I still enjoy going to school to meet my classmates and start a new semester. The bookstores were filled with people shopping for school, and they all started to wear more clothes than in the summer. The wind blows stronger, so my friends and I like to fly kites in the grasslands after school. The weather is mild, the temperature is cooler than summer but warmer than winter, the winds are gentle, and the air is fresh. All of them create a relaxing mood for everyone, and we can have this little time to prepare for the cold winter that is slowly approaching. This season is like a shy girl between the other three seasons. It's not as active as summer, it doesn't give us the joyful feelings of spring, and it's not as haughty as winter. However, it is beautiful and brings a hint of sadness in our eyes. This is the time when all the leaves change their appearance, and the green color is mostly replaced by yellow and brown.
