Science and technology are two things related to each other. Science is a systematic knowledge base, where a series of steps is followed in order to reliably predict the type of outcome. It is all about theories and focusing on general principles. The main disadvantage of science is that even though it can be proven right most of the times, there may always be some exception. The reason behind this is the fact that nothing in this world is perfect. Technology on the other hand, is the practical application of science. It can be explained as a set of methods, techniques and skills used by humans to improve their surroundings and to fulfill their needs and wants. Technology also has its own disadvantages such as being so expensive and time consuming, as well as having a negative impact on our environment in some cases.
