-Earthquake: Earthquake happens due to movement of tectonic plates. There are two types of plates-oceanic and continental. When these plates collide with each other, it causes earthquake. The severity depends on how deep the earthquake originates under Earth's surface and the geology of the area where it strikes.
-Cyclone: Cyclones are formed at sea when the atmospheric temperature rises above 26 degree Celsius in the first 50m depth of water and wind speed exceeds 17 miles per hour. It forms a low pressure area and moves towards land. The lower pressure causes air to rise rapidly, condensing to form clouds and often torrential rain. If you hear cyclone warning, you should stay inside and be safe from this natural disaster.
