As soon as I closed the door behind me, all the lights came on. I was surprised at what I saw in front of my eyes. The room was decorated with colorful lights and banners with “Happy birthday” on them. Before stepping in the room, I had been so disappointed as nobody remembered my birthday. However, they turned out to give me such a surprise on my birthday each year. I heard them singing the birthday song to me. My eyes were full of tears as I saw my parents who supposed to be back in my hometown bringing the birthday cake to me. They said: “Happy birthday, my child! It’s been three years since we last met and we missed you so much!”. There were also my friends and colleagues in the room. They were holding flowers and gifts. They had prepared all for me. This was the most memorable day of my life.
