New Year is one of the most important fastivals in Viet Nam. New Year oftens fall between late January and early February. On that day, people go to the temples, visit their relatives. New Year helps people gather together. People can return their homes and take care of their family after a year of work. On New Year people have new clothes like jeans, shirts and especially traditional Vietnamese dresses... They eat rice, Chung cake and Tet cake... I like New Year because on New Year I can visit my grandparents, help my mother cook meals and I don't have to go to school.

Tet is a tradition of our people.  Every new year comes, everyone will be excited, peach trees, apricot trees bloom together, creating a more exciting spring atmosphere.  Everyone is happy, Spring is passing, we are adding a new age, but the atmosphere of spring day is still as cheerful as ever.
