Teachers' Day is one of the popular celebrations in Vietnam. It occurs on November 20th every year. It is held to celebrate the greatly significant contribution that teachers in particular and anyone who works in the education field in general, have been making to society with their career. Days before the occasion, students at all schools prepare a music performance (a song, a dance, a flash mob) or a play within a team, some schools even organize a competition where the best performances will be chosen to perform on a special day and the best one will, of course, wins a prize. To me, this is a really meaningful occasion because teachers are important people and their works for the community are uncountable.
