People are always looking forward to the latest technological devices. It is a human nature that people want to keep up with the progress of technology. However, though these technological devices bring convenience and fun for people, they also have their drawbacks rather than benefits. One of the major drawbacks of technological devices is that it can make people feel socially isolated. For example, teenagers would choose to stay home and play video games rather than going out with friends. Another drawback of these technological devices is that people tend to rely too much on them which causes laziness. For instance, if there are too many house chores to do, then they may just use appliances to finish those chores instead of doing them by themselves. The last drawback of technological devices is that they have negative effect on human’s health. For example, some electronic devices emit harmful radio waves which could cause brain tumors and other health problems in the long run. In conclusion, I believe that technological devices do have more disadvantages than benefits because they not only isolate people from society but also make them lazy because they rely too much on them which causes health issues as well.
