When I'm elected President, I will work to change the laws in our country so that people can live free of anxiety and fear, secure in the knowledge that they will be treated with dignity, no matter what challenges they face. I will also work to ensure that all people have access to healthcare. Even now, many cannot afford health insurance and are left to suffer when illness or injury strikes. As president, it will be my job to use my influence to help these people gain access to care and medicine, so that no one has to suffer because of a lack of coverage. Lastly, there is much work to be done in education. Every child should have the chance to reach their full potential and get the best possible education they can. We must provide schools with more resources and support for students from disadvantaged backgrounds who may not have access at home what other children do - such as books or computers for doing homework on. It's time we started teaching our kids about empathy too - so they can understand what it means when someone says "I'm different" or "I don't feel well today."
