I have always wanted to visit London, the capital of England, because of its many historical places and cultural activities. I think it is a good place for spending holidays because there is a lot to see and do.
I am going to visit the Tower of London first. This was a fortress for nearly 1000 years, but no longer. It is now one of the most popular tourist attractions in Britain. I am also going to go on a tour of Westminster Palace, where the House of Lords meets.
I will also want to go on a tour of Buckingham Palace, which is where the Queen lives in England. The Changing of the Guard ceremony takes place every day at 11:30 in the forecourt at Buckingham Palace during summer and every other day during winter. I will be happy if I can see the Queen herself!
I am also going to visit Madame Tussauds Museum and London Dungeon where wax figures are displayed for visitors to see or even touch.
