The Cham people, in the picture of Vietnamese culture, are one of the most distinctive and outstanding paint that highlights the beauty of Vietnamese culture. The Cham have a population of about 162,000 people living in the provinces of Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan, Dong Nai and Tay Ninh. Their language belongs to the Southern Island language family. The Cham people have a long tradition of growing wet rice. They are also experienced in fishing and handicrafts, especially silk and handcrafted ceramics. Every year, they organize a Katé festival to commemorate the dead and honor heroes in the Cham community. Many agricultural ceremonies are performed during the year on the occasion of digging a new canal, young rice and many other occasions ....

Người Chăm, trong bức tranh văn hóa Việt Nam là một trong những nét vẽ đặc sắc và nổi bật nhất làm tôn lên vẻ đẹp của Văn hóa Việt Nam. Người Chăm có dân số khoảng 162 nghìn người sống ở các tỉnh Ninh Thuận, Bình Thuận, Đồng Nai và Tây Ninh. Nhiều nghi lễ nông nghiệp được thực hiện trong năm vào dịp đào một con kênh mới, dịp lúa non và cho rất nhiều dịp khác....

The Tay is one of 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam, the second largest after the Kinh. The Tay people speak the Tay language, a language belonging to the Thai genus of the Kra-Dai language family. The Tay people live mainly in the low areas of northern Vietnam. The Tay and Nung people have the origin and close relationship with the Trang in Guangxi, China. The Tay mainly reside in the northern midland and mountainous provinces. Besides, in recent times, the Tày people have migrated to some Central Highlands provinces such as Dak Lak and Lam Dong. The Tay people wear colorful costumes. The Tay's traditional costumes are made of self-woven cotton, dyed uniformly on men's and women's outfits, with almost no decorative patterns. The decorative accessories are jewelry made from silver and copper. The Tay ethnic costume can be considered as one of the simplest outfits of 54 ethnic groups. The costumes are simple but very meaningful to them.
