Mai: I understand that you’d like to work as a volunteer?

Lan: That’s right.

Mai: So why do you want to be a volunteer?

Lan: As you know, children with disabilities always have troubles in their life. They don’t have a normal life like other children. I want to help them as much as possible when I can.

I want to pay back to our community. Volunteering is the most rewarding way to get involved and change people's lives. I hope that they will have a better life.

Mai: What do you know about our school and the students?

Lan: From your website, this is a special school for children with disabilities. In particular, your school provides care and education for visually impaired children in Ho Chi Minh City and other provinces. Besides that, your school also provides primary and secondary education.

Mai: That’s right. You’re well-informed. Have you volunteered before?

Lan: Oh yes. I have taken part in many voluntary organizations and charity campaigns to collect gifts and raise money for local charities to help poor and disabled children.

Mai: Great! So what skills do you think you can offer?

Lan: I have strong communication skills. I can explain information and activities clearly and effectively. I have a good relationship with many volunteer clubs, so I can call many people to participate in the charity campaign.
