The boat race on the river in my hometown was held in early spring last year. The sky was clear that day. Hundreds of flowers race each other to bloom under the warm sun. People went to see the festival in large numbers. The two sides of of Tra Giang River are bustling. Everyone is looking forward to the race. The racing boats are beautifully decorated, each boat were strong, muscular and agile boys. When hearing the whistle blowing signal of the organizers, everyone turned their eyes to the front. When receiving the "start" command, the boats rush forward quickly, the riders are quick, non-stop. Water splashed, drums urged “Tung! Tung! Tung" resounded. The audience cheered with loud applause. Laughter, voices and calls to each other made the festival scene very lively.

Vietnam is a country brimming with cultural riches, including a thriving festival scene. Inside, my favorite festival is the Mid-Autumn Festival. This is the "Festival Looks Moon," a day-long children's festival. Every year, on the 15th lunar month. A variety of lanterns are given to the children. People performed dragon and lion dances in various locations to make the children happy. The kids light torches and sing as they go around the room. Adults serve fruit, sweets, and a variety of foods, with moon cakes being a specialty. Moon cakes are sweet and delicious because they are prepared with flavor, dried fruit, pork, egg, pumpkin seed, and peanut. People also float lanterns down rivers in several locations to pray for good luck children sing, dance, and listen to the narrative of Hang Nga and Cuoi while waiting for the moon to rise. The Mid-Autumn Festival is also an opportunity for family members to gather together and share their experiences from the previous year.
