This year's Mid-Autumn Festival, my mother bought me a star lamp. That night, I and my friends in the neighborhood invited each other to pick up the lights. We walked and sang the song "Mr. Starlight Procession". The moon was big and bright, like he was going to process the lanterns with us. At eight o'clock in the evening, the program "Night of the Full Moon Festival" was held at the village cultural house. Children in the village came to see a lot. The program started with a lion dance performance. Colorful unicorns dance to the beat of drums. But Ms. Hang and Uncle Cuoi are our favourites. At the end of the program, we also got to break the deck. Mid-Autumn Festival is very fun.

Tet's a national and family festival, It's an occasion for every Vietnamese to have a good time while thinking about the last year and the next year. At Tet, spring fairs are organized, streets and public buildings are brightly decorated and almost all shops are crowded with people shopping for Tet. At home, every is tidied, special food is cooked, offerings of food, fresh water, flowers, and betel are made on the family altar with burning joss- sticks scenting the air. First-footing is made when the lucky visitor comes and children are given lucky money wrapped in a red tiny envelope. Tet is also a time for peace and love.
