Every two years, my school organizes a camping contest for students on the day of the team formation. The sixth and seventh grade students eagerly prepared for the camp several weeks before arriving. Well, they just entered middle school so they're excited about the new activities. I was in seventh grade last year and the camping trip with my friends has become an unforgettable memory.

       That morning was so beautiful! In summer, it is not sunny, the wind is cool. The gentle breeze eased the sweat drops on each male's forehead. Starting early in the morning, we gathered at Duy Anh's house to move the class house together to school. The boys were very excited because it was the result of a week. At school, we proceed to set up camp immediately. As soon as we built the gate of the camp, we received an order to stay and we all gathered for the school's opening ceremony.

       The ritual review takes place solemnly and the camp formally begins after the principal's announcement. The opening ceremony took place quickly. The classes were returned to their campsite. After consulting, my class divided into three groups. One group prepares for the show, the other refines the camp and decorate it. The other group prepares the contents for lunch. So we cheered each one on.

       Over an hour passed, we received two consecutive good news. My class performance was given the highest score by the judges and the class house was also finished by the enthusiastic boys. The front yard of the camp is designed like a house. From the entrance there are gardens, fish ponds, stilt houses, a high-rise apartment building, next to a sports complex. This is clearly the product of Binh Binh, because he is the one who both respects the modernity and always appreciates the nationality. Deep inside (the tent part), the boys designed it like a roof, made of simple materials such as bamboo and coconut boat. The new decoration is so great.        Suddenly, a rewarding morning has passed. The girls' lunch was prepared with sweet food and fruit. A light party happily took place, mixed with singing, applause and laughter.

       In the early afternoon, we lined up two rows of singing traditional songs to welcome teachers to visit and mark camp. A whole day of waiting, the most nervous time has come when the general in charge of the school announced the results of the camp in front of the whole school, her words loudly:

       Today, the camps of the divisions are all very beautiful. That shows you have a meticulous preparation. But to choose the three most beautiful camps, the jury decided to choose the branches 8E, 9D and 7A (my class). Each branch camp has a unique look. 7A has the most reasonable campus. 8E's camp is unique and impressive. As for 9D, their home proves a great deal of effort. Cứ hai năm một lần, trường em lại tổ chức thi cắm trại cho học sinh vào đúng ngày thành lập đội. Các bạn học sinh lớp sáu, lớp bảy náo nức chuẩn bị cho buổi cắm trại có khi trước đến hàng tuẩn lễ. Chả là, các em ấy mới vào trường cấp 2 nên háo hức với các hoạt động mới. Năm vừa rồi em học lớp bảy và buổi cắm trại cùng các bạn đã trở thành một kỷ niệm khó quên.

       Buổi sáng hôm đó trời thật đẹp! Mùa hè nhưng trời không có nắng, gió mát dịu. Những cơn gió nhẹ làm vơi đi những giọt mồ hôi trên trán mỗi bạn nam. Bắt đầu từ sáng sớm, chúng em đã tập trung ở nhà bạn Duy Anh để cùng nhau chuyển ngôi nhà của lớp đến trường. Tụi con trai hí hửng lắm vì đó là thành quả của cả một tuần mà. Ra tới trường, chúng em tiến hành dựng trại ngay. Vừa dựng xong cổng trại, thì chúng em nhận được hiệu lệnh ở lại còn tất cả tập trung cho lễ khai mạc của trường.

       Màn duyệt nghi thức diễn ra trang trọng và buổi cắm trại chính thức được bắt đầu sau lời tuyên bố của thày hiệu trưởng. Lễ khai mạc diễn ra nhanh chóng. Các lớp được trở về khu vực cắm trại của mình. Hội ý xong, lớp em chia thành ba nhóm. Một nhóm chuẩn bị cho màn thi văn nghệ, một nhóm hoàn thiện trại và trang trí. Nhóm còn lại chuẩn bị nội vụ cho bữa ăn trưa. Thế là chúng em hồ hởi mỗi người một việc.

       Hơn một tiếng trôi qua, chúng em nhận được liên tiếp hai tin mừng. Màn thi văn nghệ của lớp em được ban giám khảo cho số điểm cao nhất và ngôi nhà của lớp cũng đã được các bạn nam năng nổ làm xong. Khuôn viên sân trước trại được thiết kế y như một ngôi nhà. Từ cổng đi vào có vườn cây, ao cá, có nhà sàn, lại có cả một khu chung cư cao tầng, bên cạnh là một khu liên hợp thể thao. Đây rõ ràng là sản phẩm của Bình cận, bởi nó là đứa vừa tôn trọng tính hiện đại lại vừa luôn đề cao tính dân tộc mà. Sâu vào bên trong (phần lều trại) các bạn nam đã thiết kế nó y như một mái nhà mà chỉ bằng những vật liệu giản đơn là tre với tàu dừa. Phần trang trí mới tuyệt làm sao. Các "nàng" đã vận dụng hết các mẹo cắt hoa học được từ báo "Mực tím" để tạo nên một bức tranh đa màu sắc và trông đẹp mắt vô cùng.

       Thoáng cái, buổi sáng đầy bổ ích đã trôi qua. Bữa trưa đã được các bạn nữ bày sẵn với đồ ăn ngọt và hoa quả. Một bữa liên hoan nhẹ diễn ra vui vẻ, xen lẫn tiếng hát, tiếng vỗ tay và tiếng cười đùa không ngớt.

       Đầu buổi chiều, chúng em xếp thành hai hàng hát vang những bài ca truyền thống để đón mừng các thày cô vào thăm và chấm trại. Cả một ngày chờ đợi, thời gian hồi hộp nhất cũng đã đến khi cô tổng phụ trách lên công bố kết quả cắm trại trước toàn trường, lời cô dõng dạc:

       Hôm nay, trại của các chi đội đều rất đẹp. Điều đó chứng tỏ các em có một sự chuẩn bị công phu. Nhưng để chọn ra ba trại đẹp nhất thì ban giám khảo quyết định chọn chi đội 8E, 9D và 7A (lớp em). Trại của mỗi chi đội lại có một vẻ riêng. 7A có khuôn viên trại hợp lý nhất. Trại của 8E lại độc đáo và gây ấn tượng hơn cả. Còn 9D, ngôi nhà của các em chứng tỏ một sự cố gắng vượt sức rất nhiều. Nhưng cuộc thi nào cũng phải có người giải nhất. Ban giám khảo sau khi cân nhắc, quyết định trao giải nhất, nhì, ba lần lượt cho chi đội 8E, 7 A và 9D.
