The old house was built by Mr. Huynh Cam Thuan, a well-known Chinese businessman (Fujian, China) once in Sa Dec, built in 1895 in the bustling shopping town of Sa Dec river.

Initially, this was a traditional three-room house in the southwestern region, 258 square meters wide, with the main materials of precious wood, and a boat-shaped roof with yin and yang tiled roof.

In 1917, the owner restored the house with solid bricks to cover the wooden frame inside. Therefore, it looks like a French villa, but inside, you see an architectural style with bold Chinese colors.

Later, his youngest son, Huynh Thuy Le, accepted the inheritance of the house. And since then, the house is still quite intact. In 2008, the old house was certified as a provincial monument, and recognized as a national monument in 2009.

Currently, Huynh Thuy Le Ancient House, has been assigned to Dong Thap Tourism Joint Stock Company to preserve, and as a tourist attraction. Every year, it welcomes thousands of domestic and foreign tourists ...
