Nuclear power is widely employed in the developed world. Some argue that it is the most cost-effective source when compared to other options, while others argue that it is exceedingly dangerous in the event of a nuclear leak or explosion. For the following reasons, I partially agree with the statement.
First, it is asserted that nuclear power is mass-produced. Solar and wind energy, which are drawn from natural resources, are restricted, whereas nuclear energy may be produced in large numbers using advanced technology. However, constructing nuclear power facilities involves a significant amount of time and work. It is expected that it will take more than a decade to complete a plant, while governments invest heavily in training professionals.to make it work, To put it another way, the completion of nuclear power facilities necessitates a high level of technology and skill.
Second, this source is thought to lower the quantity of carbon dioxide released into the atmosphere when compared to its counterpart, as well as avoid the exploitation of other natural resources. According to scientific data, the amount of carbon dioxide released by burning garbage and hydropower is ten times higher than that released by nuclear power. Furthermore, once nuclear power has taken hold, governments will not need to try to make use of other scarce natural resources such as wind, sun, or water. However, the risks posed by nuclear explosions are significantly more dangerous in the event of an unintended event. Chernobyl, in Russia, is an instructive case in point. Thousands of people developed breathing difficulties, and the next generation was born with birth disorders. In terms of the environment, the entire area surrounding the explosion was engulfed in radiation, rendering humans impossible to exist.
In conclusion, nuclear power has both positive and negative aspects. Governments can use it or use others to meet the demand of their citizens, depending on their economic situation and long-term intentions.
