Where I live is a beautiful little town by the sea. The infrastructure here is quite advanced and modern. In the past, there was a lot of traffic, so traffic jams were frequent, especially during peak hours. Recently, however, most of the residents have been commuting by public transport using alternative energy instead of private vehicles, so the city has significantly reduced traffic congestion and pollution. The city also has many large and small amusement parks, cinemas, restaurants ... to meet all the needs of consumers. My favorite place in this city is the giant harbor. Every day, there are thousands of boats passing by fishermen, traders or tourists. The market atmosphere is very lively and bustling. This is also the factor that makes the city prosperous and rich. Moreover, the city people are very friendly, open and environmentally conscious. Therefore, although there are many factories and vehicles, the city is still clean and beautiful, the air is fresh and cool. I love this city very much, I hope that in the near future the city will be more developed and more modern.

I have lived in Ho Chi Minh City for one year since I was a freshman at university. The city’s life is so different from one in rural. Before I moved to Ho Chi Minh City, I have lived in rural for 17 years with my family. The rural’s life is so serene with gentle breeze, charming meadow and pleasant people. Since I started a city life, it has been a shock.

Ho Chi Minh City is animated place with high living standard. If you want to buy something, you must consider the price carefully. People in city get high salary than in rural, but they are under a lot of pressure, such as working deadline, accommodation rent, food price… In the morning, traffic congestion is always in make people feel tired to get to their destination. In summer, the temperature rising from 33- 36 Celsius degree together with populated air caused by car emission. During that time, going out seems to be extremely difficult.

On the other hand, living in city also has many advantages. Children can get high education curriculum, study at English center, extracurricular activities at children cultural’s houses. Aldult can have more chances to apply appropriate jobs with high salary. In city, there are also a lot of entertainement center, people can go to there to relax after working, studing hard. Morever, city is a intelligent choice for students to apply to universities, which has high teaching quality, high infrastructure and high employment rate after graduated.

To sum up, living in city will be a good choice but numerous chanllenges. If you are a type of people like a heated life, it’s no doubt that city life is for you. If you like a peaceful living, you should consider carefully.
