Last year, I had a wonderful Tet holiday with my family and friends. Some weeks before New Year, we cleaned our houses and repainted the walls in white and blue. Next, we bought new clothes for our family members. One or two days before the festival, we made banh chung - the traditional cakes, and other special dishes. On New Year Eve, our whole family gathered for reunion dinner. Every member of our family was present during the dinner. On New Year morning, I, as the youngest member of my family, paid my respect and gave the best wishes to the elders. In return they receive lucky money wrapped in red tiny envelopes. Then we went to visit our neighbors, some friends and relatives. I loved visiting my grandparents the most as I could visit my old friend who I only met and played with during Tet holiday. I love Tet holiday.

All of the special holidays in my country I like Tet most, At Tet, people usually buy peach blosssom and flowers. I always plant flowers infront my house. I go to visit my grandparents to say happy new year. They feel very happy. My parents like going to the park to see firework because it is very beautiful. I like getting lucky money from my parents and relative. I love tet.
