Hung Temple Festival is a traditional festival that is considered a national holiday in Vietnam. The festival commemorates the merits of the first King of Vietnam - the Hung Kings. It is from the 8th to the 11th day of the third lunar month in Phu Tho province. This festival is very impressive because there are so many people participating. The main activities are: offering to Hung King, bamboo swing, Lion dance, wrestling, Xoan singing. I like this festival very much because it is very meaningful and I also like the fun of it.

The higher I go, the more I see why my hometown is so beautiful! This is not the first time that I have been to Hung Temple, but every time I go up, I have different thoughts, so my hometown is more and more changing, beautiful, and developing. That's very wonderful. Nghia Linh Mountain is unusually majestic. I followed the pride procession, and also heard the sound of gongs and drums resonating together to form a song to offer to the Hung Kings.
That's the Hung Temple Festival. It is the day when we show our hearts to our ancestors, the Hung Kings who have built the country. The Hung kings who had merits to build the country, our uncle and grandson had to protect the country together. Those are the words of dear Uncle Ho, that's why I and my classmates always try to study to make Vietnam more and more developed.
