Tet holiday in my hometown is very happy and cozy. From nearly a week before, new air all week. Everyone takes advantage of cleaning and washing the house to keep it clean. Weeds and dried leaves are also swept away. The markets are crowded, the site is up. Flowers, cakes, jams, clothes... all colors, styles to dazzle the viewer. In the two months of Tet, the whole family started wrapping banh chung. All that night, every house had fire, voices and laughter. When it's right on New Year's Day, everyone is dressed in new clothes, with a happy face. Everyone ignores the fatigue and worries of the old year to celebrate and succeed together for the new year. That atmosphere makes Tet in my hometown so wonderful!

Ngày Tết ở quê tôi thật vui và ấm cúng. Từ trước đó gần một tuần, cả tuần mới có không khí. Mọi người tranh thủ dọn dẹp, giặt giũ để nhà cửa luôn sạch sẽ. Cỏ dại, lá khô cũng bị cuốn trôi. Các khu chợ đông đúc, trang web đã lên. Hoa, bánh, mứt, quần áo ... đủ màu sắc, kiểu dáng làm lóa mắt người xem. Hai tháng Tết, cả nhà bắt đầu gói bánh chưng. Cả đêm hôm đó, nhà nào cũng có lửa, có tiếng nói, tiếng cười. Khi đến đúng ngày Tết, mọi người đều xúng xính quần áo mới, nét mặt vui tươi. Mọi người bỏ qua những mệt mỏi, lo toan của năm cũ để cùng nhau đón chào thành công và thành công cho năm mới. Không khí ấy làm cho Tết ở quê tôi thật tuyệt vời!

Tet is an important festival of Vietnamese people, a time to rest after a year to work. Before Tet, people usually clean and decorate their houses. My mother and I often go to the market to buy new clothes and sweets for Tet. On the 30th, we pack banh tet. During Tet, people often go to the pagoda on the first day, visit grandparents and relatives and enjoy delicious dishes. All is great.
