MY HOLIDAY BLOG

Tomares, 24th May, 2014 Dear Phuc, Thank you for your last email. I loved to learn about your city. In this letter I'm going to tell you about my holiday plans. I'm really excited about my summer plans because my parents are taking me to New York!! We are leaving on 12th July and we have great plans. First, we are going to visit the Metropolitan Museum in New York City. I don't museums in general, but this is really special. We arealso going to go sightseeing and we are going to visit the statue of Liberty and the Empire State Building. Then we are going to the Great Lakes to do some scuba diving. Finally, we are going to Niagara Falls. That's an enormous waterfall. Part of it is in the USA and part of it is in Canada. It's amazing!I'm going to need a big suitcase because I need to pack my summer clothes, shorts and T-shirts mainly, but I will also need my swimsuit, my flip flops, and some jumpers or cardigans because it might be cooler at night and by the Niagara Falls!When we come back from New York, I'm going to go to the beach with my family. We usually go to Matalascañas. I have lots of friends there so it'll be a lot of fun!! I can't wait for the summer!! What are you planning to do? I hope next year we can keep in touch. As a student, I don’t have much free time beside those I love, so my summer vacation is the duration during which I often busy myself with many things at home all day. In the day time. I often do sundry things for my grandmother and help my parents to do housework. In the evening, I go out with some of my old friends. We often chat with each other in a cafe. Usually, when I am free from doing housework, I go and visit close relatives in my neighborhood and ask them about their life and business. In the late evening, I watch films on TV or read novels or books to widen my understanding. I often go to bed very late. In my mind, I always want my short summer vacations to be not only comfortable for me but also useful for my beloved people.

Là một sinh viên, tôi không có nhiều thời gian rảnh rỗi bên cạnh những người tôi yêu thương, vì vậy kỳ nghỉ hè của tôi là khoảng thời gian mà tôi thường bận rộn với nhiều việc ở nhà cả ngày. Vào ban ngày, Tôi thường làm những việc lặt vặt cho bà nội và giúp bố mẹ làm việc nhà. Vào buổi tối, tôi đi chơi với một số người bạn cũ của tôi. Chúng tôi thường trò chuyện với nhau trong quán cà phê. Thông thường, khi rảnh rỗi làm việc nhà, tôi đi thăm bà con trong xóm, hỏi han cuộc sống và công việc làm ăn của họ. Vào buổi tối muộn, tôi xem phim trên TV hoặc đọc tiểu thuyết hoặc sách để mở mang tầm hiểu biết của mình. tôi thường đi ngủ rất muộn. Trong suy nghĩ của tôi, tôi luôn muốn những kỳ nghỉ hè ngắn ngủi của mình không chỉ thoải mái cho tôi mà còn hữu ích cho những người thân yêu của tôi.
