The first thing is that tourism often puts pressure on natural resources through over-comsuption, often in places where resources are already scare. Next, tourism puts enormous stress on local land use, and can lead to soil erosion, increased pollution, natural habitat loss, and more pressure on endangered species. The habitats of plants and wildlife are lost due to the construction of tourist areas and tourist activities. To sum up, the development of tourism has a serious effect without a suitable control.
