Nowadays, the development of technology has been spreading worldwide with many inventions that can help people to keep in touch with the world at home. One of the best inventions is the television, many people think that this is a very helpful invention but the other thing that television has destroyed communicating between friends and family. In my opinion, television is a very useful device although it sometimes makes people addicted to it, but this is just a small number of people. Therefore, I don't agree with the statement that has been given.

Firstly, television gives us many helpful and interesting knowledge through documentary, awards shows, etc. We can learn a lot from those programs such as culture, animal lives from different countries from all over the world. It will not only help the adult to gain more information about the globe but also helps children to study the interesting facts that might be useful for their studying. Secondly, television is a very popular and fun way of entertainment for both grown-up and children. By watching comedy, cartoons; people can relax after a hard-working day or study. Moreover, entertainment by watching TV is a popular activity, it helps family and relatives to get a chance to gather around talking together. Last but not least, TV is a very effective way for a developer, businessman to adverse their product, designs, etc. Because there are many people watching TV, they can easily upload the advertisement and get customers for themselves. Television has always been helpful for many different kinds of jobs, people and society.

Although television has many advantages, it also has some little disadvantages. Firstly, there are some silly channels on television that are bad for children and waste people precious time. Some channels upload information that is not suitable and that effects the kids...a lot! Finally, there are some people that are addicted to watching the TV all day instead of going out and hanging with their real-life friends. Watching TV for a long time not only cause you bad health but also Isolate you from the outside world, from your friends, family who you have neglected just to sit in front of the TV screen.

In conclusion, I think that TV has many advantages with some little disadvantages depends on how you use and think about it. I think that the disadvantages still have some ways to reduce and cannot compare with the big advantages that TV brings. Therefore, I do not agree with the statement that has been given,
