Topic 1 :Each country has its own vacation, which brings memorable moments and joy for everyone. If Tet is considered an important holiday in Vietnam, Christmas is a meaningful holiday in the US. Currently, Christmas is considered a public holiday not only for Catholics around the world but also for all global citizens. Christmas is celebrated every year on the 25th of December every year to celebrate the birth of Jesus. During this special holiday, from the Catholic families, the parish, the church to the cathedral are all decorated with artificial caves. This tradition recreates a historical event about Christmas and the Rock cave - where Jesus was born. A few days before the big holiday, houses in the US are often decorated with bright lights from neon lights, flashlights, pine trees with sparkling lights of crystal crystals, candles and tinsel. The sparkle is placed near the fireplace and on the floor are Santa's gift boxes. In the cover of Christmas Eve, people often go to the church to pray for the good or gather to share the joy with each other. In conclusion, Christmas is becoming one of the important holidays in our country, bringing a new color to the picture of religious and civilized culture in Vietnam.

Topic 2 :In front of my eyes is a picture of Sword Lake in Hanoi. Perhaps a picture of dawn is rising. Looking far away, the ripples became smaller, smaller, and finally a flat mirror that reflected the rays of the morning sun. In the distance, in the middle of the lake is the majestic Turtle Tower standing with the timeless serenity amidst the smooth green dunes. At the top of the tower is a flying national flag fluttering. Behind the tower are luxuriant trees reflecting on the clear blue lake. Looking at the picture, I recall the story that my mother told me about "The Legend of Ho Guom". At that time, there was a Kim Quy god who held a miraculous sword given to Le Loi to destroy the Minh invaders and preserve the border. And it was here that the king returned the sword to the god. The name Hồ Hoàn Kiếm originates from that anecdote. I wonder where that kind-hearted god with the sword is now under those rolling waves!

Topic 1:

There are several holidays held in a year. It is a Christmas holiday that is interesting. Christmas occurs on 24 and 25th December but it starts from the beginning of the month. During Christmas, people are more friendly and gentle with each other because they believe to have a happier life without sorrow. I enjoy decorating Christmas trees and walk around the streets looking at the buildings and the trees around the city such as in squares and parks, shops, and offices. Especially, there is always a big tree at the city’s center, in which people gather and pray together on Christmas night. All the city is decorated with color and lights; therefore, it is a chance for citizens to go out, take many beautiful photos, and transfer to each other. We take part in several interesting activities like creating snowman, playing in the snow, making homemade candy or cake, cleaning house. The snow is a symbol of Christmas. To me, it is a symbol of renewal and cleanliness of the upcoming event. Besides, the children enjoy receiving presents, which are put at the tree by Santa Clause. They believe he brings obedient kid joy, good health, and hope for a new year. Actually, the gifts are prepared by parents or relatives in order to encourage them to study and well behave with others. The tradition of giving presents originates from the old days and it becomes one of the features of the Christmas holiday. Christmas reinforces the belief of one’s soul and heals all sadness and dissatisfaction. In my opinion, it is essential to continue this holiday because of its beneficial role in the culture of one country.

Topic 3:

Danang is known as the most worth – living city in Vietnam. Recently, it has become a new city which is very famous for tourism. Danang has many destinations which attract foreign tourists from all over the world. They can enjoy from Ba Na Hill on the top of the mountains to the unique Dragon Bridge in the center of the city, which can spit water and breath fire on the weekend. As a coastal city, Danang has many beautiful beaches such as My Khe beach with clear water and long white sand. Ngu Hanh Son mountain is also one of tourist attractions with many caves and impressive structures. Buddhists can visit Linh Ung pagoda and Tam Thai pagoda on that mountain. When going to Danang, tourists can go to other famous destinations nearby such as Hue – the ancient capital or Old Street Hoi An. Not only being famous for landscapes, Danang attracts tourists because of its cuisine. Vietnamese turmeric noodles, noodles with grilled pork, lemongrass pork skewers or crispy pancake are all traditional cuisine. Visitors can choose to relax in five stars hotel or luxury resorts too. In addition, local people are very polite, generous and kind. They are willing to show you the way if you are lost, show you delicious restaurants or even prestigious hotels. All the things above are the reasons why Danang has been visited and loved by visitors.

Đà Nẵng được biết đến như là thành phố đáng sống nhất Việt Nam. Gần đây, Đà Nẵng đang dần trở thành một thành phố nổi tiếng mới về du lịch. Không chỉ nổi tiếng bởi phong cảnh đẹp, Đà Nẵng thu hút du khách một phần bởi nền ẩm thực ở đó. Mì Quảng, bún thịt nướng, sườn nướng xả hay bánh xèo đều là những món ăn truyền thống nơi đây. Khách du lịch cũng có thể chọn nghỉ dưỡng tại các khách sạn 5 sao hay tại các khu nghỉ dưỡng cao cấp. Hơn hết, người dân địa phương đều rất lịch sự, hào phóng và tốt bụng.
