Tet is a biggest festival in Vietnam. This celebrates the beginning of the Lunar New Year. Before tet, people decorate their house with a special tree with lots of flowers such as : peach flowers, apricot flowers, ... Everyone clean their house and buy fruit and flowers to prepare a full five-fruit tray on the altar to worship their ancestors. During Tet, people visiting a person's house on the first day of the new year, ancestor worship, exchanging New Year's greetings, giving lucky money to children and elderly people,  visiting relatives, friends and neighbors. It's a great time to watch lion dances, fireworks to pray for wealth, luck, happiness and peace of mind. Everyone is happy and excited about the New Year. 

During the Tet holiday, we can eat banh chung and many delicious messages. Tet is also a day for families to gather together. We can visit our grandparents. Tet is the day when families clean their house to welcome a happy and joyful new year. When Tet comes to spring, we are always happy to guess Tet, but when Tet is over, it's almost time for the exam.
