I have already received your letter, I feel very happy, um… maybe you already know about the traditional Tet holiday in Vietnam. And today is the Lunar New Year in Vietnam. In this letter, I want to tell you about this special Tet holiday.

 Since ancient times, the Lunar New Year has been one of the important Tet holidays in Vietnam.Tet is a day for everyone to come together to welcome a happy new year. On the 30th day of Tet, people often burn incense to worship their ancestors and then stay up all night to welcome New Year's Eve. Let's make banh chung soup until the morning of the 1st.

Those New Year's Days are very happy, children are congratulated by adults and taken to visit relatives to wish Tet, In the new year, people often wish each other a happy new year and get rid of the bad things of the old year. Writing here has been quite long, so I would like to stop here, if you have the opportunity to come to Vietnam to play, let me be your guide!

I write this letter for you to introduce about Tet holiday in my country - Viet Nam. On this occasion, the Vietnamese people prepare the traditional food, the customs, decorate their houses, etc. They usually spend time with family members or travelling because of the Covid 19, they cannot go anywhere conveniently. When you come to other house at Tet, you should present them a gift and say about the lucky. And you should not say bad things, make something break,...because they seem to bring bad luck to that family. I think that is all I know about Tet holiday, do you know anything more?
