Every year, on the occasion of Tet holiday - spring, Vietnamese children, whether living, working or studying anywhere, try to arrange work to be reunited with their families for 3 days of Tet. , is prayed before the ancestor altar, revisit the church, the tomb, the well, the yard, ... are relived with fond memories of childhood love. "Coming home to celebrate Tet", it is not a common concept to go home, it is a pilgrimage to the origin, where the umbilical cord is buried. For the deceased, Buddhist Dharma families offer incense to the spirits of grandparents and deceased ancestors to dine with the descendants (aka ancestors) before the year-end feast. From here until the end of Tet, the incense smoke on the altar of the family is combined with the sacred atmosphere of the cosmic harmony, making people more attached to their families than ever before. After Tet, life began a new cycle of a year.
