Mid_Autumn festival is one of the popular celebrations in the Viet Nam.
Every year,it's on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month. It's organized so that people celebrate the largest full moon in the year.
In that festival, children wear masks, parade on the street have parties with special cakes and lots of fruits. 
I feel happy when taking part in it because it makes me exited and helps me remember about my childish

There are several holidays held in a year. It is Christmas holiday that is interesting. Christmas occurs on 24 and 25th December but it starts from the beginning of the month. During Christmas, people are more friendly and gentle with each other because they believe to have a happier life without sorrow. I enjoy decorating Christmas tree and walk around the streets looking at the buildings and the trees around the city such as in squares and parks, shops and offices. Especially, there is always a big tree at city’s center, in which people gather and pray together in Christmas night. All the city is decorated with color and lights; therefore, it is a chance for citizens go out, take many beautiful photos and transfer to each other. We take part in several interesting activities like creating snowman, playing in snow, making homemade candy or cake, cleaning house. The snow is a symbol of Christmas. To me, it is a symbol of renewal and cleanliness of the upcoming event. Besides, the children enjoy receiving presents, which are put at the tree by Santa Clause. They believe he brings obedient kid joy, good health and hope for a new year. Actually, the gifts are prepared by parents or relatives in order to encourage them study and well behave with other. The tradition of giving presents originates from the old days and it becomes one of features of Christmas holiday. Christmas reinforces the belief of one’s soul and heals all sadness and dissatisfaction. In my opinion, it is essential to continue this holiday because of its beneficial role in culture of one country.
