Vivien Leigh (or Vivian Mary Hartley) was born on November 5^th, 1913 in India. She first appeared on stage at the age of 3. In 1931, she first played in a British film The Village Squire. After that, she played different roles in many films. She became successful in Gone with the Wind in 1939. She also won the Academy Award for Best Actress for the film in that year. She died in July 7^th, 1967 at the age of 53 in London.
