Nam: Water resources are becoming exhausted these days. In some regions, people don't have any fresh water to use.

Mai: Why is that?

Nam: I suppose that is because of the huge consumption of people these days. Now we use too much water and don't even save it. 

Mai: I think pollution is one reason. Many companies excharge their exhausted fumes onto water bodies that make our water resource contaminated. What relief that in my neighborhood, water are not very dirty in some water-lacking communities.

Nam: Yes. Something must be done to save water.

Mai: I agree. We can try by not using water when it is not necessary or asking people to put trash in the right place, not to the rivers or to the lakes.

Determining the importance of water resources in the process of socio-economic development, in recent years, the Provincial People's Committee has approved the planning on exploration, exploitation and use of water resources in Quang Binh province until 2020; At the same time, promulgating the Regulation on management and protection of water resources in the province. Besides, the province has also actively allocated local budgets to invest in important projects such as: Exploring and exploiting underground water for Hon La Economic Zone; Zoning planning for rural water supply and rural sanitation in Quang Binh province; Building a database of mineral resources, underground water resources to serve the storage, exploitation and use of information in the provincial socio-economic development plan.
