I ahve vistied Ha Long Bay. It is located in Quang Ninh province, in the northeast of Vietnam. It consists of 1, 960 islets, most of which are limestone. The bay has undergone hundreds of millions years of history.
Ha Long Bay is home to 14 endemic floral species and 60 endemic faunal species. Its climate is typically tropical and wet with 2 seasons including hot, moist summers and dry, cold winters. This area marked important events in the history of Vietnam with many artifacts found in Bai Tho Mount, Dau Go Cave and Bai Chay.
Ha Long Bay has received many awards and designations.In 1994, it was first listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site by UNESCO for its outstanding, universal aesthetic value. In 2000, the World Heritage Committee additionally recognised Hạ Long Bay for its outstanding geological and geomorphological value.
With its outstanding features, Ha Long Bay is one of the most worth visiting places in Vietnam.
