My favorite sport is badminton. I like playing it because I think it is a good sport. Every sport will make people feel hot and uncomfortable, but when you play badminton, you will be comfortable because in the badminton court, there are many air-conditioners.

I usually play badminton on Sunday. I always play with my friend, Linh. She is good at badminton. But I am not very good at this sport so when we play badminton, she hits the ball on my both sides. She makes me run and run, and I feel very tired. Sometimes I must jump high to hit the ball to the opposite side.

Although this makes me tired, I still always practise because I will be healthier and fitter than before. Anyway, I think badminton is the best sport.

Playing badminton is really my big hobby as it improves my health and helps me be more and more confident. First and foremost, by playing badminton about two hours a day, I feel full of beans for the entire day. For instance, I can finish my homework and housework efficiently; hence my mother always encourages me to play it every day. The second point is that playing badminton brings me out of my self. I can make friends with many people. After competitive matches, we often chat with one another about hobbies or plans in the future. Last but not least, playing badminton is entertaining. It helps me relax after working hours, and relieve stress. All in all, I consider playing badminton as my favorite pastime for it brings both physical and mental benefits.
