At the beginning of the new school year, my mother bought me a lot of school supplies, of which my favorite is a beautiful white plastic ruler.

The ruler is nearly two inches long, and about three inches wide, the ruler is made of very sturdy white plastic. Prominent on the ruler is the inscription: KIM NGUYEN in blue color adds to the beauty of the ruler. The ruler is also divided into centimeters - ti - meters very accurately to help me measure the length easily. What a convenient size! Along with the familiar pencil, it helps me to line up neatly, draw art, frame, etc. Thanks to the ruler, my assignments and exercises look very straight and are often praised by the teacher. So every time I finish using it, I carefully put the ruler in my bag in the school supplies drawer and I never draw, smear or scratch the ruler. Sometimes when I look back at the new ruler, I feel proud of my carefulness.

I like this ruler very much, every day I go to class with me to listen to my teacher's lectures and study with me. I told myself that I would take good care of the ruler so that I could use it next school year.
