Vo Thi Sau - a daughter born in the Red Land region of Long Dat area, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province of Vietnam today. In 1948, she was given a very important task by her superiors, which was to raid a rally to celebrate the National Day of the French colonialists in order to disturb and sabotage the enemies' conspiracy. . At the rally, Ms. Vo Thi Sau threw grenades into the stands with the provincial governor Le Thanh Truong - a high-ranking leader of the lackeys for the French colonialists to disperse the crowd. It is this feat that has helped our Vo Thi Sau set up more other glorious feats.

Later, Ms. Vo Thi Sau was assigned by the Party's central agency to destroy the crook, so in February 1950, while on duty, she was arrested by the enemy. The foreign invaders tortured our sister Vo Thi Sau savagely, forcing her to declare her teammates. But her heroine was determined not to declare them using many brutal tortures such as using electric batons to shock her body, or using hot fire batons to drill her body ... But all forms of brutal torture in the Middle Ages that made her even more hatred for the enemy she was determined not to say half a word.

In the end, she could not do anything for her. Vo Thi Sau forced her to exile her to Con Dao, which specialized in imprisoning and tormenting our country's political prisoners, the grave of many of the revolutionary heroes of the people. Vietnamese people.

On January 23, 1952, our heroine Vo Thi Sau was brought to the death penalty when she was only nineteen years old. Võ Thị Sáu (Đất Đỏ, 1933 – March 13, 1952) was a Vietnamese hero. She was a schoolgirl who fought against the French. (Vietnam was a French colony until 1954.) She was a guerilla fighter.

She was born Phước Thọ Commune, Đất Đỏ District in 1933. In 1948, she started helping the Viet Minh. Many of her friends and family were part of the Viet Minh. She was a contact for the guerillas and passed information to the fighters.[1]

When she was 14, she attacked some French soldiers. She threw a grenade at them. A Captain was killed. Twelve soldiers were hurt. She was not caught.[2]

In 1949, she made another attack. She threw a grenade at a man who was in charge of executions (a canton chief.) The attack did not work: the grenade didn't explode. The French police caught her after the attack. She was sent to prison.[2]

Sáu went to three different prisons.[2] The last prison she went to was Côn Sơn Prison in the Côn Đảo Islands. She was executed (killed) on 13 March 1952. She was 19 years old.[3]

Today, she is considered a martyr. She is buried in Hàng Dương Cemetery on Côn Sơn Island. Many Vietnamese people come to worship at her grave.[4]
